Job Title: Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager

Location: San Diego, California (Remote & Hybrid also available)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Property and Casualty Insurance Account Manager to join our team in California. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the insurance needs of existing clients and support the onboarding of new clients. This includes evaluating current policies, working with carriers and underwriters, and providing advice on managing various insurance policies. The Account Manager is expected to provide excellent customer service and to build strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters.
  • Evaluate existing insurance policies and make recommendations for changes.
  • Support negotiations of coverage and pricing with carriers.
  • Provide advice to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Monitor and report on client insurance needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies for client retention.
  • Process and review applications, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Maintain accurate records of client policies.
  • Provide customer service and troubleshoot any customer issues.

Requirements:

  • A college degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of work experience.
  • Desire to become licensed to do business in the state of California
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
